With the change of seasons there is always an adjustment.  A feeling of sadness for the end of summer and feelings of excitement and maybe a bit of anxiety around the new adventures that are starting. Like all transitions, sometimes you need a bit of help.

In Canada, autumn is a time of transition; from the free-spirited, lazy days of summer to a return to work and school routines, to scheduled classes and activities like pottery and gymnastics. Kids of all ages are returning to school; some leaving home to go to university and college, and others returning to school around the corner.

With the end of summer and the beginning of fall the days become cooler and shorter. Nature starts changing things around us.  Our minds turn to our lists of to dos and tasks and our focus is on goals and how to achieve them.

Changing routines can put unfamiliar stresses on individuals, couples and parents as they strive to cope with a changing landscape.

Change is one of the few constants and it is everywhere!  It can be fun and exciting but at the same time challenging and overwhelming. Our therapists and counselors are here to help you to deal with the issues, problems, and stress that arise from adjusting to change.
